Otto Dix was a painter of the New German Objectivity and Expressionism.
The pictorial work of Otto Dix covers a great diversity of styles, although the general public knows, mainly, his paintings about war. Outstanding illustrator, Otto Dix has left us 500 sketches and various portraits, as well as canvases and watercolors, which undoubtedly evoke the Renaissance era. And is that Dix is, in fact, one of the great German painters of the twentieth century. Most of his work is exhibited at the Stuttgart Museum of Art.
